It’s so funny we can’t see beyond what our eyes see.
It’s easier to look at the wrinkles of an old lady.
It’s easier to look at the limping feet of an old man.
It’s easier to look at the stretch marks of a lady who just delivered a baby.
It’s easier to look at the torn palms of a person.
It’s so much easier to look at the outer appearance of a human.
But not the pain, the struggle, the efforts??
Funny right? We limit our vision , our ability to look beyond. We are told it’s a crazy world out there, nobody knows it’s crazier in our heads.
Only if we could look, watch, see beyond.
We could see the radiant smile of that old lady, saying she got through each day, each dark hour.
We could see the happy retirement of that old man, saying he lived his best.
We could see the joy, the marks of the lady who was blessed with a miracle, saying this is the best tattoo she could have on herself.
We could see the hard work of the person with torn palms , who is the sole bread earner of the family, saying he could sleep in peace each night, knowing his family has eaten well.
How I wish! How I wish , we had the guts to tell our eyes to look beyond.
